A Billboard Made of Small Trees

WWF and Coca-Cola Philippines has created a billboard using CO2 Absorbing plants.

This 60 x 60 ft installation is in Makati City, featuring a statement “This billboard absorbs air pollutants”, with a huge iconic Coca -Cola bottle surrounded by hundreds of green plants.

There are altogether 3,600 Fukien tea plants used, with each absorb up to 13 pounds of CO2 a year, working as a natual filter. The plants are housed in pots made from recycled Coke bottles and are watered via a drip irrigation system.
